Kate Murphy, BSN, RN, DNP, FNP-BC
Kate was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. She attended Montana State University where she achieved her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2011 and her Doctorate of Nurse Practice in 2016. Her research on the integration of oral health into pediatric well child visits was publish in Journal of The American Association of Nurse Practitioners. After completing graduate school, she and her husband moved back to Casper to be closer to loved ones and to begin her practice in her hometown.
Chelsea Mower, FNP
Chelsea Mower is a Wyoming native who grew up in Douglas and moved to Casper in 2011. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2011 and worked at Wyoming Medical Center as an RN. She then went on to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing Degree with specialty of Family Nurse Practitioner from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 2013. She started her career in family practice and has now been with us at Urgent Care of Casper since 2014. She enjoys the fast pace and wide variety of patients that present to Urgent Care each day. She is passionate about helping people when they need it most. Chelsea feels very fortunate to be able to do what she loves in the community she calls home every day. Her favorite role though is wife and mom and she loves to spend time with her husband and small children enjoying all that this state has to offer!
Lettie Seamount, FNP
Lettie is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Casper in 1981 and raised 3 children here. After moving to Wyoming in 1981 Lettie started working at Wyoming Medical Center as a CNA and decided to become a nurse. She graduated from Casper College in 1984 and from University of Wyoming with a Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 1993. She worked as a nurse mainly in the ICU at Wyoming Medical Center from 1981 until 2009. She graduated from University of Wyoming with a Master’s degree in Nursing with focus as Family Nurse Practitioner and worked in Oncology after graduating until the practice closed. Lettie started at Urgent Care of Casper in March of 2010 and have been here since. Lettie is a quilter, machine embroiderer and grandma to 9 awesome grandkids. Her children live in different states-Texas, Colorado, and Alaska. She loves to visit and spoil her babies as much as she can. She is a passionate Nurse Practitioner who cares deeply about the patients she sees in the clinic. Her focus is on the whole person and their wellbeing.
Mindy Walden, FNP
Mindy has been a proud member of the Casper, Wyoming community for most of her life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State University – Bozeman in 2001 and began her career as a registered nurse at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. She later returned to Wyoming, working at Wyoming Medical Center in both the Critical Care and Progressive Care Units, as well as serving as a Nursing Educator.
In 2009, Mindy completed her Master of Science in Nursing – Education from Walden University and went on to teach in the Casper College Nursing Program. She further advanced her clinical expertise by earning her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Maryville University in 2022.
Mindy has experience in a range of healthcare settings, including three years as a Family Nurse Practitioner in orthopedic medicine before joining Urgent Care of Casper in 2025. With more than 25 years of experience in nursing and healthcare, she is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to the Casper community.
Outside of work, Mindy enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, and extended family. She and her family enjoy the outdoors camping, golfing, and boating. They are a hockey family as well, traveling around the state and beyond to watch their youngest play a sport he loves. In addition, they are avid football fans, proudly supporting the University of Wyoming Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
