  • Full-Time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

    We are looking for a hard-working, dedicated, competent, and compassionate nurse practitioner or physician's assistant to join our awesome Urgent Care of Casper team!


    Schedule:

    Seeking to fill full time position. Typically, 12 hours shifts, 3 days per week. The clinic is open 8-8 during the week and 9-5 on the weekends. Weekends as needed. Must be willing to work designated holiday(s). New grads welcome.


    Summary:

    Diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases and injuries in fast-paced Urgent Care practice by performing the following duties.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

    • Elicits and records information about a patient’s medical history.
    • Examines patient to determine general physical condition.
    • Orders or executes various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.
    • Analyzes reports and findings of tests and of examination, and diagnoses condition.
    • Administers or prescribes treatments and drugs.
    • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to immunize patients from communicable diseases.
    • Reports outbreak of contagious diseases to governmental authorities.
    • Refers patients to medical specialist or other practitioner for specialized treatment.
    • Conducts physical examinations to provide information needed for admission to school, consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage.
    • Maintain OSHA Compliancy
    • Maintain HIPAA Compliancy
    • Attend Scheduled staff meetings
    • Assist in other departments as needed.
    • Light daily cleaning
    • Other duties may be assigned as needed

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Licensed through appropriate WY state board
    • Certified through appropriate national board
    • CPR Training
    • DOT Medical Examiner Certified (or be willing to obtain upon hire)

  • Full-Time Radiology Technician

    Summary:

    Performs radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease and injuries by performing the following duties.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:


    • Prepares and positions patients for diagnostic imaging procedures.
    • Adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by physician.
    • Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
    • Moves imaging equipment into specified position, determines exposure factors on basis of height, weight, portion of body involved, and degree of penetration required, and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors and produce images of proper detail, density, and accuracy.
    • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
    • Performs specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
    • Processes images and reviews for proper identification and quality control.
    • Prepares images for reading by radiologist or requesting physician.
    • Performs routine maintenance, diagnoses malfunctions, and makes minor repairs on radiologic equipment, arranging for repairs as needed.
    • Completes forms and maintains records, logs, and reports of work performed.
    • Room patients and process vitals/clia tests
    • Drug/Alcohol Testing
    • On-Call service on a rotating basis 
    • Occupational Health Testing (Audiogram, PFT, Fit testing, etc.)
    • General cleaning duties/Light cleaning
    • Maintain OSHA compliancy.
    • Attend Scheduled Staff meetings
    • Other duties may be assigned.

    Education and/or Experience:                 


    • Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • National Certificate from AART (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) with proper annual registration.
    • Current License through Wyoming Board of Radiologic Technologists
    • CPR Certificate
